RREEF, a leading US based real estate investment manager and full service real estate investment advisor is a division of DB Real Estate. Originally founded by five real estate practitioners in 1975, RREEF was founded in order to give institutions the same hands-on real estate decision making that private owners had enjoyed and been successful with for a long time.

RREEF manages $34.3 billion in pension fund real estate investments for over 420 corporate, public, and international clients. Its activities include private and public market equity investments ranging from core investments to higher return/higher risk holdings, including development. RREEF has 129 property management offices nationwide and property acquisitions offices in San Francisco, Chicago and New York.

RREEF currently manages 748 real estate assets, comprising 2,483 commercial buildings (181 million square feet) and 25,177 apartment units. RREEF has more than 9,300 commercial tenants and an overall occupancy rate of 89%. RREEF's investment activities include the acquisition, physical improvement, market repositioning, active management and sale of well-located apartment, industrial, retail and office properties in major metropolitan markets across the continental United States. RREEF also invests in new development projects and other value-added oriented investment opportunities.

RREEF believes in direct control and active management of real estate. This is achieved through closely-coordinated, in-house asset and property management, which is an integrated process at RREEF. RREEF has developed a national property management organization comprised of 113 offices in major metropolitan areas across the United States. Operating within company-wide guidelines, our local property managers handle day-to-day operations, including tenant relations, leasing, marketing, accounting and maintenance.

As the owner's representatives, our managers are directly responsible for the development and implementation of property strategies, the achievement of financial projections, and the hands-on management of their properties. Because they work so closely with their properties and tenants within their respective markets, and with our portfolio managers on investment decisions, we believe our managers are better able to seek to maximize the value of the properties under their management and to further create the best work environments for our tenants.
